| A Guide To Archery by Tom Foy | This is a paperback version of a previously published hardback that is out of print, but with two new useful chapters. It is aimed mostly at beginners, but there is a lot of advice that will be helpful to more experienced archers. The help it will give to improve scores and give more enjoyment in the sport is well worth the price of £12.50.
AUTOGRAPHED COPIES If you would like your copy autographed by the author, please say so; it will be worth more when he is dead! If you are giving it as a gift, and want it autographed to a particular person, please write their name in block capitals; we can't always read the handwriting.

| THE ARCHER'S CRAFT by A.E. Hodgkin | This was written before all
the modern equipment got going, and it deals with everything to
do with archery at that time. It covers the making of all the
equipment, how to shoot, materials to use, the history of
archery, the life of Roger Ascham, and lots more. Reprinted in
paperback, with the original illustrations. | | £14.00 |
| THE WITCHERY OF ARCHERY by Maurice Thompson | This was first
published in the United States in 1877, and it is a classic about
the Longbow. The author was on the losing side in the American
Civil War and was forbidden to bear firearms, so he took up
archery in order to survive. This is a glimpse into the world of
archery many years ago, and it is full of exciting tales and
adventures. If you shoot only FITA rounds, you need this book. | | £12.00 |
| MAKING THE BOUGHSTAVE LONGBOW by Don Adams | Not all longbows
were made out of the main trunk of a tree, for good branches were
also used to make bows. A slim booklet, only fourteen pages, but
with lots of useful information for new bowyers. | | £2.95 |
| HENRY V AND THE CONQUEST OF FRANCE by Paul Knight. | The victory
at Agincourt was not the end of the story, for more battles and
the victories of Joan of Arc were yet to come, and the Hundred
Years War did not end until 1453. Paperback. | | £8.99 |
| THE HERITAGE OF THE LONGBOW, a practical guide to the manufacture and use of traditional archery equipment, by Pip Bickerstaffe. | This is a new book about an old subject by one of Britain's leading bowyers. So many people are returning to the old archery that this will be a welcome guide to the equipment, and how to make it. | | £14.50 |
| Under the new postal regulations we have to charge postage according to the size of the package as well as the weight, and as books come in lots of different sizes we cannot print a price for this. Please e-mail us with your requirements and we will work out the cost of postage for you. Life gets more and more difficult these days, doesn't it. |
