This is a family business, started in Battersea in London in 1973
by Rose and Tom Foy. They were both keen archers, and Tom was a Master Bowman and County Coach for six consecutive years. He won the London Championship and the Masters' Tournament, and started two clubs, the Crystal Palace Bowmen and the Hawkhurst Hundred. In 1985 Tom was asked to organise a shoot to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the building of Bodiam Castle, and this was so successful that the idea took off and the idea of medieval shoots spread all over the country. |
